After the first match…
Yes, it was a really crappy game. But the only thing that we knew before the match is that of the three games, this one was the game that Paraguay could afford to lose. We could say that it was a possible controlled damage.
As I always said, with this coach we don’t have a chance of playing, he only knows how to defend with a formation of 2 lines of defenders. His substitutions were inappropriate considering how the game was.
Maybe we can say that Paraguay suffered of scenically panic. Primarily in the fist half, we didn’t found the ball, the midfield did not mark the British players, and both lines (midfield and defenders) did not connect. The goal made by our own player, was a real pity, mainly because Beckham’s free-kick and the air-plays were the most dangerous weapons of England that the coach should practice more.
The English team, in the second half they didn’t appear. Paraguay played bad, but England had a couple of plays and after that, nothing more. Two things, they are not the great team that the media affirms, and if they keep playing like this, I think that they will not pass the 2nd Round.
If Paraguay wants to classify to the next round, we need to change our coach and our attitude. Having two forwards doesn’t help you if you don’t have somebody to pass them the ball. I hope that to the next match we make changes in our strategy and dare a little more to play offensively. The match against Sweden is the key game for us.

Costa, I am very surprise to hear a brazilian with that pedantic aptitude. The people suppose to like the “bandeirantes” because they are more friendly people that like the football, that’s why the people like to cheer more for Brazil than Argentina, no?
The only thing that I got to say is if Paraguay suck that much, how could it be than Brazil every time that came to Asuncion to play the qualifying games they refugee under their goal?
Joga bonito cara e nao abra sua boca pra dizer porcarias…
