Chilavert launched some missiles against Paraguay…

Jose Luis Chilavert, the former goalkeeper and captain of the Paraguayan national team, in an interview to the Paraguayan magazine TEVEO launched some missiles against the Paraguayan team.

About coach Ruiz he said that he is incompetent of being the manager of the team. Respect the President of the Paraguayan FA Oscar Harrison he mentioned that he is a person that made so much damage to the Paraguayan football because he believes that he is the one that achieve all the success, not the players.

Once again he criticized his former team mates, specially the older ones, saying that he is not optimist for this World Cup because Paraguay had not seriously prepared for the tournament.

In my opinion, it seems as Chilavert really wants that Paraguay fails in this World Cup, because then he could say that he was the only one that leaded the team. We need to remember than when he was in the team he never raise its voice against the FA or the coach (Chila, don’t forget the Maldini fiasco), and he really want to be the coach and savior of the team.

Chila is that kind of player that you love when he is playing, but outside the field you really don’t need to heard him. For those who are in USA and want to hear its comments, he will be commenting the World Cup in Spanish in the Univision channel.
