Dante is ready.

Dante Lopez, the replacement call because of the injury of Jose Cardozo, arrived yesterday to the Paraguayan concentration from Genova, Italy. He shared with its team mates the dinner, and talked with Coach Ruiz.

“For me it is like a dream, I am very sorry of what happened with Cardozo, but I am here to give a hand to the team and with all the expectations of playing for Paraguay”.

In the other hand Coach Ruiz said that he is calm because Dante is in great shape and his energies and strengths will help a lot to the team, but he is out of the plans for the game against England because he came to the team very late for this game.

I don’t know your opinion guys, but I think than Dante is more important than Salvador Cabañas, and considering than the game with England will be very “physical” his strength will help a lot. I know that he didn’t practice with the team, but he already knows the coach strategy (he played in the qualifying phase) and I don’t like the thing of having short players in the bench, because we already know that if Roque plays he will need a replacement during the game.
