The FIFA rankings a very flawed. They seem to be based on numbers alone and don't take into account the relative strength of the groups. The U.S.A. and Mexico tend to dominate weak competition -- Costa Rica being the exception -- and that pushes their ranking unnaturally high. Paraguay, which has to face not only Brazil and Argentina, but other strong teams such as Ecuador, Uruguay, etc., on a regular basis, ends up dropping further than they should. I think that Paraguay has an excellent chance of advancing and is even capable of upsetting England and winning the group. As you said, it should be fun. Paraguay is definitely better than No. 33.
