I think that our team today don't have an out-spoken person who can heat up a game even before its starts, as Chilavert did.

Probably Carlos "El Colorado" Gamarra or "Pepe" Cardozo, as the olders of the team will be the ones who make all the comments for the team.

With Chilavert, you either loved him or hated him, there was no middle point. But nobody can say that he didn't knew how to create the ambient for the match.

How could any keeper ever follow in his footsteps? I wish he were around but I look forward to developing a new favorite Paraguyan player this summer. Anyone on the team play with special flair?

I was in "El Monumental" (River Plate Stadium) when Chila scored against Argentina.

I will always remember the silence of the stadium when Chila started his slowly running to the other side of the field to take the shot. It was like every person in that stadium knew that he was going to score, even Burgos I think.
