Why should no one care? why such an unfriendly and demeaning title to your blog? to begin with, there are 6 million Paraguayans who do care. I respect your country and your team, reciprocity would be very much appreciated.

Pedro, thanks for the message. I’m sure tons of those 6 million people in Paraguay care about their team. The reference was more to the fact that we haven’t been able to find one person out of those six million who want to blog about Paraguay. Perhaps you’d like to take on the challenge.

Cheers

I support Paraguay in Germany 2006.. Because of Argentina and Brazil, not many people are interested in Paraguay. But they deserve too much. I believe that.

Well they are a decent side and the “renovation” of players from the Chilavert days seems to be taking place smoothly.
The starting line-up should be: Justo Villar; Denis Caniza-Carlos Gamarra-J.C. Cáceres-Delio Toledo; Edgar Barreto-Roberto Acuña-Carlos Paredes-Julio Dos Santos; Nelson Haedo Valdez-Roque Santa Cruz (José Cardozo if the latter isn’t fit)

Why is it that im not surprised by such snobbish attitude? typical of the English i dare say (yes, i am Paraguayan but living in the United Kingdom). We may not be the best team in the world, but we deserve respect, as any other team does. And honestly, i would love to see England lose any game, to see if that helps most of the stuck ups like you come back to reallity. Cheers,

When Paraguay is at their best, their play is exciting and passionate on the pitch. When things start to fall apart, however, they fall apart quickly. Paraguay played exceptionally well in the Olympics, but were desperately over-matched against Argentina in the finals. That being said, my heart is with Paraguay all the way. Nderakore, if only they can make it past the second round.

The same attitude had Spain in France ‘98 and they went very early back to Madrid… If England doesn’t score a goal in the first 20 min. things can turn ugly for them. Aguante la Albirro carajo..!!!
