Paredes starts his recovery…
Carlos Humberto Paredes, midfielder of Reggina (Italy) and the national team had begun its recovery treatment for the next World Cup. Last Friday he arrived to Asuncion to wait the announcement of the official list next May, 15. He is suffering from injuries in his both ankles. The injuries are not several, but because of the many games that he played in a short amount of time, the medics recommended him to rest these days.
Parades is very know for his courage in the field. During the World Cup qualification he played for the team even when he was injured. He probably will want to play in this World Cup even without any leg. Because of his attitude to the team, he had won the appreciation of every fan. He never leaves the field without giving everything that he got.
Renown by its hard mark, his presence in the midfield encourage the whole team, that why he earn the nickname of “El Senor de la Media Cancha” (the lord of the midfield). If you need to block some player during the match, that is the job of Parades. Even though he is in charge of marking in the midfield, he had scored some of the most important goals during the qualification.
Despite the fact that the list is not yet announced, Parades is one of the players that has a secure place in that paper. I expect his full recover before the World Cup starts because he is a very important player in the national team strategy.
