Nelson Haedo has a secure place in the starting team, so if Roque Santa Cruz is unavailable to play the World Cup, his substitutes are Cardozo, Cabanas, Cuevas or Cesar Ramirez. I believe Cardozo probably will play in his place if he gets to the World Cup in good shape, other wise probably Salvador Cabanas will be Haedo's companion...
