World Cup Records.
June 11th, 2006 | By: Daniel | No Comments »
Paraguay had entered in the World Cup records in the worst form possible:
1.) Carlos Gamarra had the record for the fastest own goal in World Cups;
2.) First match in a World Cup that finished with a defeat with only an own goal; and
3.) Finally the fastest substitution of a goalkeeper in a World Cup.
These things represent what it really was the game, a real combination of bad luck for our team that could not recover from the fatal own goal and lacked of ideas when they possessed the ball.
