Greetings from the Paraguay World Cup Blog!

I’m pleased to announce I will be posting for the Paraguay World Cup Blog. My name’s Victor, and like most hot-blooded Paraguayans, I am a great fan of the “Albirroja”. I have followed Paraguay during the World Cup of Mexico ’86, and the last series of World Cup participations from France ’98 through Germany ’06. The most memorable moments I’ve experienced include witnessing Chilavert’s free-kick goal on Argentina, as well as our fall to England in Germany ’06. I will periodically share stories I think are of interest, and I hope they will be as enjoyable to you, as I am sure they will be to me.
